Please check the discussion assignment page regularly to keep track of what papers will be discussed and who is leading the discussion.

When new papers are added to the course, they will be shown on the web course outline . In most cases, a PDF file will be linked from the outline. You should use this to print and read the paper for the class (i.e., I will not be handing out hard copies).

Note that the final exam for this course is a "take-home" assignment [a referee's report] due on December 13.

Our meeting will be in S301 from 10:30-12. I may be a little late (I have a dentist's appointment earlier that morning), but you should start without me if I am not there at 10:30.
